ParticipantsConsultants' Meeting on the Evaluation and Recommendation of Photon Strength Function Data
Purpose
The purpose of the meeting was to re-assess the needs for evaluating photon strength function data and providing recommended values. This is particularly important in cases where the data obtained with different methods do not agree. Discussions focussed on (i) global systematics as a means of identifying outliers as well as trends and (ii) comprehensive uncertainty quantification including all the model dependencies.
